This page explains how we research, write and update the guides on UAE Draft. We want you to know exactly where our information comes from and why you can trust it.

Our goal

We write practical answers to real questions about life in the UAE. Every guide should help you make a decision or get something done, whether that’s finding free parking, checking if an app works or planning a visit.

How we research

Before we publish anything, we look for the most reliable source we can find. In order of preference, that usually means:

  1. Official government and authority websites, such as the TDRA, RTA, municipalities and visa authorities.
  2. Official websites and customer service of the business or place we’re writing about.
  3. Our own visits, calls and first hand experience.
  4. Trusted news outlets in the UAE, used to confirm recent changes.

If we can’t confirm something, we either leave it out or clearly say it may vary.

How we write

  • We put the short answer first, then explain the details.
  • We use plain language and avoid jargon.
  • We say clearly when rules differ between emirates, networks or days of the week.
  • We never copy content from other websites.

Use of AI tools

We sometimes use software tools to help with things like grammar checks, outlines or image editing. Every article is still researched, written, reviewed and fact checked by a person on our team before it goes live. A tool never decides what we publish.

Keeping guides up to date

Prices, rules and timings in the UAE change often. We review our guides regularly and update them when something changes. When we make a meaningful update, the “Last updated” date at the top of the article changes too.

Corrections

If you find an error, please email us at intopens@gmail.com with the article link. We check every report, and if we got something wrong, we fix it as quickly as we can.

Independence and advertising

UAE Draft may show ads and may include affiliate links in the future. Advertisers and partners have no say in what we write, and we never accept payment for a positive review. If an article is ever sponsored, we’ll label it clearly at the top.

Images

We use our own photos, licensed images or custom graphics. Where an image belongs to someone else, we credit the source.
