UAE Draft started with a simple problem. We kept searching for basic answers about life in the UAE, things like parking rules, opening hours or whether an app works here, and kept landing on pages that were outdated, vague or written by someone who had clearly never been here.
So we started writing the answers down ourselves. That’s what this site is: short, honest guides to the questions people actually ask in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the rest of the Emirates.
What we cover
- UAE Living: parking, fees, timings, payments and the small everyday things nobody explains.
- Destinations: malls, towers, landmarks and what to expect before you go.
- Tech: which apps and services work in the UAE, and which ones don’t.
How we write
Every article starts with the quick answer, because that’s usually all you need. After that we add the detail, the exceptions and the tips we picked up along the way. We check official sources, call or visit places when we can, and we go back and update a guide when something changes.
